Duplex ultrasound of the scrotal and spermatic cord vessels is used in both urological and vascular diagnostics. It helps evaluate venous dilation and abnormal venous flow when varicocele is suspected. At Ahvar Clinic, the findings are interpreted together with examination by the relevant specialist.
What it addresses / benefits
- assessment of spermatic cord veins
- evaluation for varicocele
- blood flow analysis
- comparison of the right and left sides
- follow-up after treatment when indicated.
Preparation
Special preparation is usually not required.
How the procedure is performed
