Telangiectasias usually appear as small red, purple, or blue vascular lines visible through the skin. Although they are often primarily cosmetic, patients with varicose veins, swelling, or leg heaviness may also benefit from assessment of the larger venous system. At Ahvar Clinic, the treatment method is individualized.
What it addresses / benefits
- assessment of spider veins
- exclusion of more significant venous reflux
- microsclerotherapy when appropriate
- laser treatment in suitable cases
- individualized method selection.
Preparation
The phlebologist evaluates the superficial vascular pattern and checks for additional signs of chronic venous disease.
How the procedure is performed
After the vessel type is identified, an appropriate treatment is selected. Small vessels may be treated by injection or through the skin using vascular laser.
Result / recovery
Improvement occurs gradually, and several sessions may be required for extensive vascular patterns.
