Book an appointment →

Levator and sphincter reconstruction is a functional reconstructive operation used for selected injuries affecting pelvic floor and perineal muscles. It should not be treated as a generic “intimate plastic surgery” procedure. Surgical extent should correspond to a specific anatomical and functional defect. At Ahvar Clinic, treatment is planned after in-person examination.

What it addresses / benefits

  • reconstruction of perineal muscles
  • restoration of the levator muscle complex
  • correction of selected childbirth-related injuries
  • improvement of pelvic floor anatomical support
  • individualized reconstructive planning.

Preparation

A gynecological or specialist surgical examination is required to assess the anatomical defect and pelvic floor function.

How the procedure is performed

The surgeon identifies and repairs damaged or separated muscle structures and reconstructs anatomical support of the perineum.

Result / recovery

Healing time is required after surgery, with temporary restrictions on physical and sexual activity according to medical advice.
