Varicose tributaries may be treated using sclerotherapy, miniphlebectomy, thermal ablation, or non-thermal closure. Use of adhesive treatment depends on the anatomy of the specific vessel and the technology available. At Ahvar Clinic, the treatment method is selected individually.
What it addresses / benefits
- treatment of selected varicose tributaries
- non-thermal therapy
- localized vascular correction
- ultrasound guidance
- possible combination with truncal treatment.
Preparation
Ultrasound mapping of the selected veins and their connections with the main venous system is performed.
How the procedure is performed
Medical adhesive is introduced into the selected abnormal vein using the appropriate catheter-based technique, resulting in vessel closure.
Result / recovery
The treated veins and venous blood flow are monitored after the procedure.
