Tributary veins differ in both anatomy and hemodynamic significance. The presence of a dilated vein alone is not sufficient reason for treatment. The source and direction of pathological blood flow should first be identified.
What it addresses / benefits
- treatment of selected varicose tributaries
- non-thermal chemical obliteration
- possible ultrasound guidance
- localized treatment
- individualized treatment strategy.
Preparation
Pathological vessels are mapped before treatment.
How the procedure is performed
