Not every varicose tributary is best treated with the same technique. Some may be appropriate for laser ablation, while others are better treated with miniphlebectomy or sclerotherapy. At Ahvar Clinic, the method is selected according to vessel diameter, course, and anatomical location.
What it addresses / benefits
- treatment of large varicose tributaries
- targeted endovenous therapy
- ultrasound guidance
- possible combination with truncal EVLA
- individualized vein selection.
Preparation
The tributaries and their connections with the main superficial venous system are mapped by ultrasound.
How the procedure is performed
Selected venous segments are catheterized and closed with laser energy under ultrasound guidance.
Result / recovery
The treated vessels gradually close and are removed from pathological circulation. Medical follow-up is required.

Sclerotherapy involves injecting a specialized solution into an abnormal vein to damage the inner vessel wall and promote subsequent closure.
