Transcutaneous vascular laser treatment is fundamentally different from EVLA.In EVLA, a laser fiber is placed inside a larger vein. In transcutaneous treatment, laser energy is delivered through the skin to small superficial vessels. At Ahvar Clinic, the method is selected according to the vascular pattern.
What it addresses / benefits
- treatment of selected spider veins
- no venous puncture required
- targeted treatment of small vessels
- possibility of multiple sessions
- alternative to microsclerotherapy in suitable cases.
Preparation
The specialist evaluates vessel color, diameter, depth, and skin condition. Duplex ultrasound may be recommended when more extensive varicose disease is present.
How the procedure is performed
Laser pulses are applied sequentially to selected vessels through the skin. Parameters are adjusted according to vessel and skin characteristics.
Result / recovery
The vessels become less visible gradually. Temporary redness, swelling, or color changes may occur in the treated area.
