Syndactyly may be simple or complex and may involve only the skin or deeper structures. The price-list items “syndactyly” and “separation of interdigital spaces” should be consolidated into the same medical service. At Ahvar Clinic, technique is selected according to the congenital anatomy.

Preparation
The type of syndactyly and involvement of bone, vessels, and other structures are assessed. Surgical timing depends on age and anatomy.
How the procedure is performed
The fused digits are surgically separated. Local flaps and, in some cases, skin grafts are used to cover the created surfaces.
Result / recovery
Healing and digit growth require follow-up. Additional correction may occasionally be needed later.
