Lipomodelling evaluates body shape as a whole and aims to improve the relationship between different anatomical areas. Unlike isolated liposuction, the surgeon may work with several regions at the same time and, when indicated, use the patient’s own fat to restore or enhance volume elsewhere. The objective is not to remove the maximum possible amount of fat, but to create a balanced and medically appropriate contouring plan. At Ahvar Clinic, lipomodelling is planned individually after assessment of body shape, skin quality, and anatomy.
What it addresses / benefits
- correction of body proportions and silhouette
- reduction of localized fat deposits
- improvement of transitions between adjacent areas
- potential use of the patient’s own fat for additional contouring.
Preparation
The plastic surgeon evaluates the body as a whole and identifies areas where volume should be reduced or potentially increased. Skin condition, fat distribution, and overall health are assessed. Preoperative testing is determined individually.
How the procedure is performed
During preoperative marking, the surgeon creates an overall contouring plan. Liposuction is performed in selected areas, and when appropriate, some processed fat may be transferred to other regions to improve volume and proportions. The combination of techniques is individualized.
Result / recovery
Initial contours change as swelling decreases and tissues recover. Final results develop gradually. Recovery depends on the number of treated areas and the overall extent of surgery.
