PRP therapy uses autologous plasma, meaning plasma obtained from the patient’s own blood, with an increased platelet concentration. After blood processing, the prepared material is injected into selected tissues. In aesthetic medicine, PRP may be used in skin-care programs and as part of a comprehensive approach to certain scalp and hair concerns. At Ahvar Clinic, treatment areas and the PRP schedule are determined individually after medical assessment. A topical anesthetic cream may be used when appropriate.

Preparation

How the procedure is performed
A small amount of venous blood is collected and processed to obtain plasma with a higher platelet concentration. The prepared material is injected into selected areas of the face and/or scalp. Post-procedure recommendations are then provided.
Result / recovery
Temporary redness, sensitivity, or mild swelling may occur at injection sites. Changes are assessed gradually. The schedule for repeat treatments is determined individually.
