Not every skin lesion a patient describes as a “mole” should be removed with a laser. Before treatment, the nature of the lesion must be evaluated and the suitability of the method confirmed. For some pigmented lesions, removal using a method that allows histological examination may be medically more appropriate. Therefore, the decision to use laser treatment is made only after examination. At Ahvar Clinic, the removal strategy is selected individually with priority given to safety and appropriate pre-treatment evaluation.

Preparation
The lesion must be examined by a specialist before removal. If suspicious features are present, dermoscopy or another diagnostic approach and a different removal method may be required. A size of “2 × 2 cm” alone is not sufficient to determine whether laser treatment is appropriate.
How the procedure is performed
After assessment, the skin is prepared for treatment. The specialist performs laser treatment within the selected area. The technique and treatment depth depend on the nature of the lesion. Afterward, the patient receives aftercare instructions.
Result / recovery
A healing area develops at the treatment site and changes gradually as the skin recovers. It is important to follow aftercare recommendations and avoid traumatizing the treated area.
