Laser treatment targets pigmented hair follicles but does not replace medical evaluation of endocrine causes of excessive hair growth. Preparation
The cosmetologist evaluates the skin and hair characteristics. Hormonal disorders, medications, inflammation, and recent tanning should be reported. Hair-preparation instructions are provided before treatment.
How the procedure is performed
After defining the treatment boundaries, the chin area is treated sequentially using appropriate laser parameters. Suitable aftercare is provided afterward.
Result / recovery
Hair density gradually decreases. A course of treatments is usually required for a noticeable effect. Temporary redness may occur.
