The term “mini facelift” includes several surgical lifting techniques with a more limited treatment area compared with more extensive traditional facelift procedures. It is not suitable for every type of age-related change. With significant skin excess or pronounced tissue descent, a surgeon may recommend a different surgical approach. Preparation
A plastic surgery consultation is required before surgery. The surgeon evaluates the skin, soft tissues, facial anatomy, medical history, and current medications. Preoperative testing is determined individually.
How the procedure is performed
The surgeon marks the correction areas and determines the surgical access. During surgery, the required tissue mobilization and fixation are performed according to the selected technique. The type of anesthesia and exact surgical method are individualized.
Result / recovery
Temporary swelling, bruising, and changes in sensation are expected after surgery. Results are assessed gradually as healing progresses and postoperative changes subside.
