Preparation
A plastic surgery consultation is required before surgery. Facial anatomy, skin and soft tissue condition, general health, and current medications are assessed. Appropriate preoperative investigations are arranged.
How the procedure is performed
The surgeon creates access through predetermined areas and performs the required mobilization and fixation of tissues. The extent of surgery and treatment of deeper layers depend on the selected technique.
Result / recovery
Swelling, bruising, and temporary changes in sensation are expected after surgery. Results are assessed gradually as the tissues heal.
