Unlike laser hair removal, electrolysis treats each hair follicle individually and does not depend on the hair’s melanin absorbing light energy. Preparation
The specialist evaluates the skin and treatment area. Hair must be long enough to allow proper treatment. Irritation, skin damage, and medical conditions should be reported in advance.
How the procedure is performed
A fine probe is inserted along the hair follicle and a controlled electrical current is delivered. The treated hair is then removed. The process is repeated individually for each selected follicle.
Result / recovery
Localized redness and mild swelling may occur. Because hair grows in cycles, several sessions are generally required to treat an entire area.
